I think the Richard Morrison you are referring to is my ggggrandfather and he was born ca 1797?? Richard married Malinda Travers in VA. Lived in Hagerstown,MD. Then Some where in Tennesse, then to Byron,IL. Where they separted. Malinda got the older children and Richard kept two youngest boys. I read thhis in 1850/60 census in Lawrence county,OH. Richard remarried but dont remember the ladies name. Could have been Margaret then again maybe not. Had a 15 year old granddaughter with him as well. All i have at this time. Good hunting.
