My William Martin born in Virginia (I have no idea where) abt 1793 had nine children in Aid,Lawrence County, one of whom, Serilda was the grandmother of my grandmother. He had no sons named David. Mysrouces are my own family records and the 1850 and 1860 Lawrence County census. Im sorry I cannot be of more help.
