The wife's surname may be DAY or may be other....I am not sure of this woman's name at all. The only indication I have is that both of their sons listed parents as Wm and "L" or "S" Lunsford when getting married. Both sons were born between 1831 and 1838, there may have been other siblings, but I have nothing that says there is at the moment. Both sons were born in OH, married in WV, one moved back to OH and the other moved to KY. That is all I know at this time. SO finding a Lunsford/Lunceford marriage for a Wm and a L or S UNKNOWN or possibly to a Martha DAY would go a long way in establishing a direction and location for my research. The name of Martha Day comes into play on the death certificates of one of the sons, but that may have actually have been a step-mother and the grandchild giving the info for parentage my not have been aware of that factor. It is in direct conflict with the LIMITED info given for the mother's name by her 2 sons when they married!?! Total confusion here so any assistance and/or info you find will be greatly appreciated.
