A 3:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel . The family will receive following the Service. Greg was born on November 14, 1962 in Lawrence County, Ohio to Larry Hungerford and Faith Faulkner. Surviving is his daughter, Flora Hungerford of the home; mother, Faith Faulkner of Walnut Cove; father and stepmother, Larry and Sue Hungerford of Lewisville; sisters, Pamela and Max Pettyjohn of Durham, Mary and Charles Cranfill of Walnut Cove, Sandra Hungerford and Jack Bates of New Mexico; brothers, Stanley and Judy Hungerford of Clemmons, Steven and Lorena Hungerford of Advance and James and Tina Hungerford of Kernersville; step-brother, Matt and Catherine Dorsam of California; and step-sister, C.C. and Bill McGuire of Winston-Salem; eleven nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army, 2850 New Walkertown Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to The Second Harvest Food Bank, 3655 Reed Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Burroughs Funeral Home of Walnut Cove is serving the Hungerford family.
