Is anyone researching this family ? In particular, I'm interested in Wilkerson Chisenall (Chisinoll/Chizenal) who served in the USCT (5th). LawCo marriage records show him marrying Nancy Margaret Rogers in the 1860s and his pension record abstract indicate he was born in Wake County, NC (Raleigh). It looks like maybe he had a son, Louis for whom someone filed a dependents pension for from somewhere in VA. Anyone know him ?
