My father Earl Carlton Blake 6 September 1922 - 9 November 1996 served in Europe during the war. His rank was PFC, enlistment Dec 1942. He lived in South Point, Ohio for almost 40 years. My mother also served in WWII. Her name was Marian Eliza Cutright 5 December 1921 - 16 October 2005. Not sure of her rank, but she served in the Womens Army Corps in Washington, DC at the Pentagon during the war. Her married name was Marian Cutright Blake.
