Hi Don, L-O-N-G time, no chat. I assume that you have heard about our family situation, either by me telling you about it, or through hearing about it from someone else. My genealogy has been on the back burner for the past year after my 6 year-old daughter, Lily, was hit by a car. They didn't know if she would survive, but being the fighter that she is, she is surviving and thriving. She is still in a wheelchair and still has a feeding tube, but is learning to walk again, and she is eating and drinking well. She makes a tiny bit of progress each day! I spend my days taking her to therapy of every kind imaginable and to doctor's appointments, etc. She had brain injuries, and that is what is causing a lot of the remaining issues. Thankfully, her intellect and quick wit were unaffected (as far as we can tell), and so she is still the crazy, fun kid that she always was. Hopefully, she'll be running around like crazy in a year or two. Anyway, I've been pestering Dan Rapp about his close relatives (who are also my relatives) that served in WWII. You just need something like this, right? Bill Rapp, Lieut. Col, U.S. Army :) Do you want dates of birth and death (where applicable) as well? I know that Dan's dad, Bill Rapp, and Dan's uncle, Donald Cox, both served. I'll try to get the information out of Dan. Sometimes extracting that takes a little patience, but it's ALWAYS worth it.
