John Pinkethman EATON, s/o John P. and Margaret (MORRISON) EATON, m in 1889 to Eustacia Maria GARDNER, d/o Roswell and Nancy (DELAY) GARDNER. Children are: Anna Belle b 1890 LawCo Clara Gertrude b 1894 LawCo John Roswell b 1896 LawCo m Thelma HALL Alice Margaret "Margie" b 1897 LawCo Richard "Dick" b 1902 LawCo m Margaret MCCOWN In 1913, John P. and Eustacia (GARDNER) EATON adopted their grandson, James "Jimmie/Jimmy" EATON. Anna Belle, Clara and Margie lived in the old GARDNER/EATON homeplace in Rome Twp until after the death of their Mother in 1942. They then moved to Ferry St and later to Wilgus in Proctorville. Thomas GARDNER, grandfa of Eustacia Maria (GARDNER) EATON, built the old homeplace in Rome Twp, and several families have lived there since it was sold by the EATON family. I am the ggrand-dau. of John Pinkethman and Eustacia Maria (GARDNER) EATON and look forward to connecting with others related to or otherwise researching any of these ancestors.
