He died 06 Jan 1899 in Lincoln County, WV. He was married to Malissa Roberts. Jacob had a son John Lewis Adkins who bas born 30 Aug 1861 in Lawrence Co, OH. John married a Venila Hinkle abt 1885 in Jefferson Co, WV. He died 06 Aug 1935 in Sholas, Wayne Co, WV. Jacob may be listed in the 1860 and 1870 Lawrence Co, OH census.
