He was born on January 25, 1928 to the late Fred and Estella Hardy in Chesapeake, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers; and one sister. Thirl was an Army WWII veteran. He retired from Rockwell/Boeing in 1989 after working 30 plus years. Thirl is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Beva (Haner) Hardy, of Pataskala, Ohio; sons, David and Daniel Hardy, of Pataskala; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Rocky Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Pataskala Cemetery.
