She was born November 8, 1932 in Lawrence County, Ohio the daughter John and Bessie (Stewart) Woolum. She had juvenile arthritis when she was very young and needed to walk with braces. It was a handicap that she overcame with the help of 12 joint replacements in her lifetime. She had worked for the Ellis Roberts Insurance Agency for many years and retired from Consolidated Insurance Company. Louise was a willing volunteer at both Community and Mercy Hospitals. She is survived by her husband, John, to whom she was married May 19, 1951; sister-in-laws, Doris & John Floyd and Naomi & Stacy Lloyd; special friend Wanda Seegraves and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John "Jack", uncles, Cecil and Denzil Stewart. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at First United Church of Christ with Rev. Gail Eastwood officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Church of Christ, 2000 E. High St., Springfield, Ohio 45505.
