Thanks I did find some census, but couldn't find them in 1850 or 1880. In 1860 I found Terrence in Jail for counterfeiting. Couldn't find him after that. It their child that I can't find that I'm most interested in Harriett is my 2ggmother. I have a photo that I had though to be Harriett and her mother and one that could have been both parents, but I found a death records for her in 1885 this would probably been taken in 1920's. thanks can't wait to here back from you. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who responded to my questions about obituaries in Lawrence county. I have sent similar requests to other mailing lists, and never gotten any response back at all from anyone. It's good to see that there are still good people out there willing to help out. Thanks especially to Ernie for looking up and mailing me the obituaries that I had requested! Brian
For obits after Apr 2000, you can go to http://www.herald-dispatch.com/<http://www.herald-dispatch.com/> which is the Herald-Dispatch, the local newspaper. The only one I could find there was for Harold. You can also contact Marshall University for a copy. The citation number is below. Arnold, Jesse O. 06/26/97 HD:06/28/97:C2 Also, the Huntington Library has a copy, usually. Their e-mail address is genealog@cabell.lib.wv.us<mailto:genealog@cabell.lib.wv.us> Good luck. ----- Original Message ----- From: Lowell Pankake<mailto:pankake@usfamily.net> To: rhinehartroots@yahoo.com<mailto:rhinehartroots@yahoo.com> ; ohlawren@rootsweb.com<mailto:ohlawren@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, July 27, 2008 12:41 AM Subject: Re: [OHLAWREN] Where do I find obituaries?
