Hi Guys, I've been in touch with some other cousins and we're discussing a family reunion of any descendants of Union Corporeal George F. Hixon (Civil War), who died in Lawrence County, Ohio. I'm curious how many descendants there are still living in the area, and whether or not they'd be interested in getting together for a reunion in either Gallia or Lawrence County. We're hoping to make this an annual occurance! So far I have a cousin from Michigan (if I recall correctly), and another from Canton, Ohio, and possibly another one or two. The reunion would include a trip to Rehobeth Cemetery near Waterloo, where George is buried alongside his wife Alcinda.
