    3. There is a reading of the Ridgewood Cemetery, which you can find at the Wellston library, but it isn't in alphabetical order, or it wasn't when I was looking at it couple years ago. It is a large Cemetery and very hard to walk. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, May 30, 2005 6:19 PM Subject: [OHLAWREN] Re: How can I find a Cemetery? > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CZB.2ACI/2414.2 > > Message Board Post: > > Ridgewood is off the main road going through Wellston. 2. I just sent Jean two sections from the Rome Twp. plat map, from the 1887 Lake Publishing Co Atlas of Lawrence Co. #1 the Athalia area of main map. #2 the Athalia inset from the same page, showing Haskelville as being just south of Athalia, between Two mile creek and the Ohio River. Shows only 9 lots, and two of them actually one regular width split East west length varied by distance between river and creek. Creek enters river just north of Haskelville. I have the townships scanned as 300 dpi tif files. Any photo program should display them properly. Files are from 6.7 to 9.4 mb. Don Clark

    3. Hi Carl! Thanks for that information. Is it in the same spot of a current-day community (so that I have a chance of finding that on the map)? I wanted to ask you something else. I came across the following excerpt out of the 1990 Lawrence County History book. From "John and Ada Murdock," written by Mary Murdock Zimmerman, History of Lawrence County, Ohio, published by the Lawrence County History Book Committee in conjunction with the Lawrence County Genealogical Society in 1990: ".She (Adella Brammer) worked in the home of Miss Della Cox and her sister, Miss Ethel Cox, who collaborated with their brothers, U. T. and N. C. Cox in trying new methods of farming, marketing, and preserving of fruits and vegetables." Do you know Mary Murdock Zimmerman? I am trying to put together a biography for Nelson Cox, and found this. Nelson is the father of U.T., "N.C." (should be Elton Grant Cox, E.G. Cox), Ethel, and Della Cox. I just wondered if there was more information about the Cox family floating around with the Murdocks or Brammers somewhere. - Jean -----Original Message----- From: carl murdock [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, May 29, 2005 6:41 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [OHLAWREN] Haskellsville Jean Haskellsville was located in Rome Twp I believe west of where Athalia Ohio is located. ==== OHLAWREN Mailing List ==== To be removed from this list send the word "unsubscribe", as both subject and in body of message, to the list format your receive: [email protected] or [email protected] ============================== Find your ancestors in the Birth, Marriage and Death Records. I have very little information on any of Andrew's siblings and am particularly interested if you know any of John Stephan's daughter, Katherine's, descendants. She helped author a document with my grandfather providing information about their lineage back to John Frederick and referenced a "notebook" in the document. I believe Katherine's descendants might have that notebook. If you have any information about descendants of John Stephan's children, I would like to pursue contacting them. Hope this finds you well.
