    1. [OHLAWREN] Juanita (Sutherland) Morris 1913-1991
    2. Nancy Edwards
    3. Does anyone know or have info about this Juanita (Sutherland) Morris? I believe she is the same Juanita Morris who was a close friend of my Mother's in Huntington during the 1940's, and I would like to learn more about her. I have a copy of Juanita (Sutherland) Morris' obit from an Ironton, OH newspaper (thanks Don). Per the obit, Juanita's parents were Albert and Margaret Author Sutherland, and siblings included Lloyd Sutherland, Arnold Sutherland, Viola Morris, Mary Lee Thompson, Beulah "Kitty" Radchelder(?), and D. A. "Jack" Sutherland. At some point Harry and Juanita (Sutherland) Morris lived in Boca Raton, FL - probably after late 1950's, and to my knowledge they had no children. Her funeral was held at Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville, and I believe this is the same Juanita Morris who is buried in Rome Cemetery, Lawrence Co., OH. I recently came across some information about Forgey Cemetery. The information states that Mark and Irena Singer were buried there. I would like to prove this, but they are not in the information online. Is it possible that they were missed in the cemetery readings? Are there records somewhere for this cemetery? I know that their son, Cassius K. Singer and his wife were buried in Getaway Cemetery. Here's the information on Mark and Irena (Gillett) Singer. Mark Singer, born August 4, 1810, died unknown, after 1882 Irena (Gillett) Singer, born April 24, 1823, died November 23, 1894 Thanks for any help! - Jean ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to OHLAWREN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. Lorna!!! How are you? I haven't been working too hard on my own lines, as I've been drawn into a genealogical project for Pueblo County, Colorado. Someone contacted me and had a little new information. Wow, that's awesome about this info on the Singers. I don't think that they show up in my Cemetery books, so perhaps this is new info, or perhaps I overlooked Singer Cemetery. I never could figure out what happened to these two. They were featured in Hardesty's in one of the bios, but after the 1880 census, I could never find them again. Thanks for looking them up and finding them! I found a descendant of theirs, and she and her whole family are thrilled to be a part of the Gillett family of Lawrence County. I guess us Gilletts are "famous." Irena was the youngest daughter of Joel Gillet. He died when she was five months old. Poor baby. - Jean ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lorna Marks" <lmarks@insight.rr.com> To: <ohlawren@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, February 19, 2008 9:49 AM Subject: Re: [OHLAWREN] Singer/Forgey Cemetery > Hi Jean - the CD of Lawrence Co. cemeteries only shows one Singer in > Forgey Cemetery (Windsor Twp): > Thomas Singer d.10-5-1835, aged 60yrs > > Singer Cemetery in Windsor Township shows: > Anton Singer d.9-1-18__ > Irena G.
