    3. Hello, again, I forgot to answer your question about newspapers in Lake County for obituaries. Yes, Morley library at 184 Phelps Street in Painesville, OH 44077 has microfilm of the Painesville Telegraph from 1922 til its closing in 1986 and the News Herald from 1986 to present, all indexed for obituaries. They will send a copy of one or two obits for 50 cents each, I believe, if you send a self addressed stamped envelope (SASE). Usually Perry obits were in the Telegraph, and they have a Perry news column in every issue. Morley is working on putting the obit index on-line and we hope the beginning of the alphabet will be up soon. It is painstaking work to type all those cards again. For those in western Lake County, I am not sure how far back the paper goes, but Willoughby library has microfilm of the News Herald. They have some brief periods indexed for obituaries. Most communities have had small local papers at one time or another.
