I am interested in finding out what happened to this family. I have already checked the index 1880 US census for Ohio, and they do not seem be be in the state. I haven't a clue to where they may have moved. There is a record of their marriage in Lake Co., OH dated 28 Dec 1895. Agness's maiden name was CARPENTER. Below is excerpted from the 1870 US census of Willoughby Twp., Lake Co., OH: ATWOOD, Samuel 36 sailor bp-England " , Agness R. 20 bp-Ohio " , Nellie 3 bp-Ohio " , Charles 1 bp-Ohio There was a least one other son, William T., who was born 6 Feb 1872 in Lake Co. I don't know if there were any others. Samuel may have also gone by his middle name, Nicholas. Any info about Samuel N. Atwood's movements or resting place would be appreciated.
