Dear Marcia, Re: Your surnames (and mine) in Lake Co. (and neighboring Ashtabula Co.) -OWEN AND GREEN: OWEN: - My Joel OWEN b 13 Apr 1771 in Hebron, Tolland Co, CT and his wife, Mary KNEELAND were among the earliest pioneers to settle in Saybrook, Ashtabula Co, OH where they had six daughters [but no known sons]. I've been successful in finding their ancestry. GREEN: My Dinah GREEN was b 1783 in Rhode Island and married Abiram WOODARD 10 Aug 1801 in Sandgate, Bennington County, Vermont where they bore and raised [at least] 12 children. They moved to Munson, Geauga Co, Ohio about 1835. I'm research their WOODARD descendants some who lived in Lake County, Ohio. I'd like to find my Dinah GREEN's parents and ancestors but so far I have had no luck-- although I've also tried looking at other GREENs who came to the Lake County, Ohio area. Do you think we have any connection?
