Dear Eric, Yes, Leroy, or what used to be LeRoy is in the current Lake County. It is still quite rural. Early marriage certificates do not include much information at all. If they were underage, there might be a parent, and sometimes others went to apply for the license, but no relationship is on that. LDS did film Geauga county records from that time period and should be available to order at your local FHC. Birth records from early LeRoy are hard to come by. Good luck!
