Saw a message on the Ohio Roots list referring to Quadrennial Enummerations. The enumerations were used to determine voting districts, and, as the name suggests, were taken every four years from 1803 to 1911. Prior to 1863, enumerations recorded only white males. The Ohio Historical Center has some of these records, but none were listed for Lake County among others. Does anyone know if these censuses were ever taken in Lake Co and/or Geauga Co?
