need to determine parents of SHERWOOD, Ezra W. Any suggestions? Ezra was born c1815 most probably Ohio (one census says NY). He married Charlotte CALL, May 1842, Lake Co OH. They had 4 children, Sarah, Ezra, Enos and Byron. What's my best attack? been reading the "History of Geauga and Lake Counties, Ohio with Illustrations and Biographical Sketches of its Pioneers and most Prominent Men" from the County and Family Histories: OH, 1780-1970 CD set. Very interesting - adds some nice background to family research, and there are many names (index of names quite helpful) I would be willing to do some lookups as long as they are fairly specific. lastly, I hear the Morley Library in Painesville has some good resources. Does one need to do anything special to utilize the facilities? I am planning on visiting my old home (Perry) late winter and plan on spending some time doing research.
