I have Thomas Lee Wright, who had a sister Mary (Molly) in Perry, OH. From the PAINESVILLE TELEGRAPGH, 25 March 1863 In Perry, on the 24th Mach last, Mr Thomas L. Wright, in the 80th year of his age. Mr. W. was one of the pioneers of Northern Ohio, having removed from the state of New York to Harpersfield, Ashtabla, County, in 1803, where he lived until 1810, when he removed to Perry, and ereceted his first house and made the first improvments in the Township. Being a man of giant frame and constitution, he was well fitted to endure the hardships of pioneer life. He raised a family of seven sons and eight daughters,- the mother of whom having died several years ago, he married another of which he spent the last and best years of his life; having been led, it is believed, through her influences to the Saviour of Sinners, he obtained hope in Christ at the age of 74 years, and was baptized and united with the 2nd Baptsist Church of Perry, and maintained a consistent walk to the day of death, and died in blest assurance of a glorious immortality. "His end was in peace." Thomas' son Charles is said to be the first child born in Perry, OH.
