I have a record from May, 1856 Report of the Sec'y of State to the Gov. of Ohio. - Return of the number of deaf, dumb, blind, insane and idiotic persons. It lists an R. Rockafellow, daughter of William and Alice Rockafellow. Her name was Rosalia. Anyone have access to the 1860 census for Lake County to see if she is still in the home - which I would assume would be the infirmary - although that could be wrong. I would like to find where she was buried. Thank you.
The 1860 census shows Rosetta at home with her parents in Lake Co, Kirtland, pg 280; Wm is 52, laborer, $300, $400, b. NY; Allice is 51, b. NY; Wm is 29 b. NY; Wealthy is 27, b. NY; Rosetta is 18, b. NY and Idiot; Jane is 16 b. OH; Gertrude is 6, b. OH; Hope this helps in your research.
