John NICHOLS is my 4G grandfather. He was born about 1813 in Pennsylvania (according to 1880 census) and died in 1893 in Painesville, Lake, Ohio. His wife was Caroline (1820-1881) and had 4 children: Jerusha, Alonzo, Ira, and Edward. Jerusha married a John F. Osmond and was later married to George Center. I don't know if he's related to your NICHOLS ancestors but I thought I'd ask. Thanks.
