She and her husband Simeon appear in Lake County in the 1850 census and in Ontario Co, NY in 1860 when Simeon died. Eliza appears in the 1870 census in Mentor with her daughter Lorinda LAMUNYAN and in Rome, Ashtabula Co, with another daughter Charlotte SWEET. Charlotte moved to Mentor in the latter part of 1870. She had two other daughters living in Lake County at various times - Julia Ann (Anna J) SMITH and Lydia DEMERRIT. Lorinda moved to the Dakota Territory in 1979. Both Julia and Lydia are in Lake County in the 1880 census, Lorinda and a son Hervey are both in the Dakotas in the 1880 census. Eliza does not appear in the census with any of them. I have not been able to locate Charlotte and her family in the 1880 census. I believe they were still in Lake County in 1880 but they were in the Dakotas by 1885. I would appreciate any information on Eliza's whereabouts between 1870 and approximately 1893. I have unconfirmed information that she may haved died in 1893. Any information concerning the date and location of her death would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
