Goshorn, 75, 7390 Foxmill Lane, Mentor, formerly of Painesville, died Wednesday in Lake County Memorial Hospital, Willoughby, following a long illness. Born in Alliance, Pa., August 22, 1904, he was a self-employed painter in Lake County for 40 years. He was an honorary member of the Masonic Lodge 302, Willoughby. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Susan) Ray of Mentor and Mrs. Ruth Frick of Mentor; a son, James of Parma; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane in 1962, a son, Richard and a daughter, Katherine. Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Brunner's, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Rev. Kim Hauenstein of Mentor Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
