I would like to make a query regarding my ancestor Phoebe Flint Hopkins. Her marriage record to Benjamin Hopkins, the 3rd, in Wilton, New Hampshire in 1782, states that she was "of Amherst." This couple soon moved to New York and then on to Ohio, where they became pioneers in Mentor. They are buried in Mentor. (Died in 1837 and 1833.) For many years I have tried to find a clue that would help me determine the parents of Phoebe Flint. If anyone reading this can help, please contact me? I am happy to share my research.
