"Gramma Jean" Leonard Funeral services for Jean C. "Gramma Jean" Leonard, 86, of Memphis, Tenn., and Perry, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., in Painesville. Mrs. Leonard died Dec. 5, 2003, at Methodist Health Care North in Memphis, Tenn. She was born June 13, 1917, in Erie, Pa. She was a member of Calvary-Fellowship Baptist Church in Painesville. Mrs. Leonard worked as a beam tender at IRC Fibers for 35 years, retiring in 1980. Survivors are her daughters, Rebecca (James) Lawhon of Memphis, Tenn., Carol (Donald) Bixler of Pontiac, Ill., and Christine (Albert) Lett of Perry; brothers, Jonathan (Rita) Cantrick of Mentor, and David (Bessie) Cantrick of Painesville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She also leaves good friend Samantha Rohaley. Her husband, Harry Leonard; son, Dale Leonard, parents, Harry and Laura (Brick) Cantrick; and sister, Betty Molyneux, are deceased. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Doug Reeder of Calvary-Fellowship Baptist Church will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
