    3. Ruth S. posted a "siting" of the Williams book on HeritageQuest recently. I thought it was significant enough to put in the genealogy file at Morley Library. I took a copy to have filed. Sally, the genealogist there suggested I post to you that that very book is also available at Morley Library under call number Gen Ref/ OG/ Ref/ 929.2/WIL. She gave me a list of other such genealogies, and when we have a rainy day and my dust bunnies are not squawking too loudly, I will get that up on GenWeb. Cynthia in Lake County

    3. hello, again! GenWeb has a couple of things I have not told you about yet. The history of the Madison Home is now up as well as a history of the building complex. Also is a list of articles found about the complex. This is found under Institutions. A few more pages of death records went up some time back. Thanks to Lori Watson for her hard work on this great database. A new page has joined the History section. It is for Historical Markers of Lake County. It is only a listing so far, and very limited. We have a huge number of markers in the county. If you would like to make a list of ones you know about, or take pictures of some of them, we could put them up, one to a page with transcription and photo of the place or building commemorated. Contact me if you would like to participate. Happy Hunting! Cynthia www.rootsweb.com/~ohlake/

    3. Tonia, You should be able to find the obituary index for this person if there was an obit in the News-Herald. Obits for the Painesville Telegraph 1822-1986 and the News-Herald from 1986 to current are indexed for A,B and most of Cs 1822-current and those from Jan. 1998 to current for all the alphabet. Go to www.morleylibrary.org and click on genealogy, then the obituary index. Then you can order the copy from the library or the genealogical society. Or you could ask a lookup volunteer from the GenWeb page to do it. Try www.rootsweb.com/~ohlake/ then go to Resources and Lookup Volunteers. If it was in the Plain Dealer, you could find the obit index at www.cpl.org It is called the Cleveland News Index, or CLENIX. These are index items form 1976 to current. If it were an older one, they are in the Necrology File, which includes the entire death notice, at the same URL. If you find it in CLENIX, there is an email address to order one to three copies free of charge from Cleveland Public Library (cpl). Cynthia in Lake County On Wed, 7 May 2003 22:36:21 -0400 "Tonia L. 3. Hello, again. I just opened my mail and have added an original biographical submission from Joseph Hager and Mary Spence. Luther Trumbull (1787-1840) is the subect of the sketch, and it tells of some of the early industrial history of Madison as well as the family. You will find it under Biographies. 1. [OHLAKE] GenWeb updates
    2. Cynthia C Turk
    3. Hello, listers, There are several updates on GenWeb for Lake County today. Some early Lake County residents who had wills, estates or guardianships in Cuyahoga County from 1811-1852 are listed under Probate Court Records. This was abstracted from the new book available from the East Cuyahoga County Genealogical Society. Willoughby, then Chagrin, was still a part of Cuyahoga County until 1840. Under Activities, the Willoughby Cemetery will be having a ceremony by the North East Ohio Civil War Roundtable. 95 names will be on a plaque which will be dedicated May 31. New Pioneer Registry entries are of surnames Blakely, Brick, Chambers, Eddy, Gallager, Gill, Kent, Law, Mallory, Peterson, Travis, Trumbull, Welch, and Young. Thanks to those who have shared.
