    3. In case anyone is interested and looking for something to do this weekend-- Come see the 8,800 names on the walls of veterans from the Cleveland area. Soldiers' & Sailors' Monument on Public Square, Cleveland, Ohio is having its 110th Anniversary and an Ohio Bi-Centennial Marker Dedication on July 4th, 2004 at 11:30am at the monument. The guest speaker will be Kenneth Callahan talking about the 8th Ohio Volunteer Infantry at Gettysburg. This is also the 140th Anniversary of the 8th Ohio returning home from the Civil War and having its "Welcome Home" Celebration on Public Square. The 8th OVI Re-enactors will also be in attendance. Also, there is the dedication of the Ohio Historical Marker -- Dr. William Laidlaw from the Ohio Historical Society will be presenting the marker. Music will be by the Singing Angels, Jim Strand with his bugle and Paul Ferroni with his trumpet. The ceremony is scheduled to last about an hour. If you care to join us afterwards, lunch will be at David's at the Marriott (Society Center) and it is a buffet lunch I believe for $15.00. There are tours of the monument before and after the ceremony with light dessert and refreshments. Please come and celebrate a nice mid-day Sunday at the Soldiers' & Sailors' Monument. Michelle A. I´m not related to any of the familys you are looking for, unfortunatly. Perhaps I could help You with the spelling though. Gustafson -"the son of Gustaf" often spells with a double s "Gustafsson" or with an v "Gustavsson". Most common in Sweden is the "Gustavsson" spelling. Good luck! /Ulrika Gustafson, Gothenburg Sweden

We have been searching for the records of the ME Church located at Wilson's Corners in Concord for a long time to locate the records of Elijah Button, who was a long time member of that church. He died in Dec 1874. Could you ask Sandy Malitz for me if she has any idea where we might find those records. Thanks so much Steve Button

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/BZB.2ACI/816 Message Board Post: Hi, I am trying to locate a Harri family that lived in Fairport Harbor in the 1950's and I don't have much information except a couple of pictures that say on the back that these people are cousins of my husbands grandmother, Ida Harri Pakkala. Ida lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and then moved to New York state and she had a brother Antti Isaak Harri that lived in Wakefield, MI I believe. What I am looking to find out is whether there might be a city directory for Fairport Harbor for 1955 which is the date on the back of the picture ( actually it says taken about 1955). One of the pictures is of a man alone and the other is of the same man, a woman and young boy. Any help or suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks Nancy

Surnames: Marshall, Puffer, Brown Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/BZB.2ACI/815 Message Board Post: Looking for 4ggrandfather, Daniel Lester Marshall, who, according to his obituary, is said to have been born "near Cleveland, Ohio" about 1821, son of Enos Marshall. His parents supposedly died young, and he was then raised in the family of Thomas Lincoln, Utica, New York. Daniel married Susan Puffer at Boonville, Oneida, New York, on 8 Feb 1848. The family moved west to Phillips Co., Kansas, where Daniel died 11 Feb 1887. It is likely the Marshall family originally migrated from New York.
