However, my John Simpkins was born in Knox Co., Ohio, son of Seeley and Christina Dial Simpkins who marries Lavina Lafever. The Simpkins came to Knox Co., Ohio prior to Dec 1804. The John Simpkins in Knox Co., Illinois was born in Pa. and most likely the son of Horatio Simpkins. May I ask how you know that Lavina is a Lafever? And where did you get your information.
