EDWARD CAVIN IS TAKEN BY DEATH Native of Knox Co., Long Resident of Mt. Vernon Mrs. Clarinda Hollister Cavin peacefully passed away Sunday evening at 1 o'clock, after an illness of several months' duration. Altho she had been in failing health for the past few months, the end came quite suddenly. Mrs. Cavin was born near Mt. Liberty, and was the daughter of Almon and Nancy Hollister. All of her married life she spent in Mt. Vernon. Her husband, Edward A. Cavin, passed away several years ago. She is survived by two brothers, Eli C. and Zach T. Hollister of Mt. Liberty; by three children, Miss Ollie G. Cavin, Mrs. Frank Scott and Mrs. Mac F. Stephens; and by two grandchildren, Eloise and Ronald Edward Scott, Mt. Vernon. The passing of Mrs. Cavin takes away one of the older residents of Mt. Vernon, and whose loss will be felt by the entire community. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. A. D. Mink, pastor of the Gay St. Methodist Episcopal church, of which Mrs. Cavin was long a devoted member, will be held from the family residence, 7 E.
