Ken, I don't know about your Aaron Cox who was born in 1857 -- but I have a couple of Aaron Coxes in my line - perhaps they are of the same family. I have an Aaron Cox who was b. 1809, m. to Malinda Hupp, and he was the son of Christopher (b.1767) & Anna Cox of Greene & Washington Counties of western PA. Some of Christopher Cox's children eventually settled in Knox & Licking Counties in Ohio. Also, this Christopher Cox had a brother named Aaron Cox. Christopher & Aaron were sons of an Isaac Cox b. 1715 in New Jersey but settled in PA. Sorry I couldn't be more help but maybe this will give you some leads.
