George was born in 1808, raised and educated in KNOX CO. OH. Married wife Nora AGNES ALLEN circa 1829. Moved to IN by 1835. This is my brick wall. Silas Allen & wife Mary Cleveland came from Vermont to Fairfield County, Ohio.Their children were Lemuel, Jared, Rebecca, Anna, Elizabth, Bejamin, Jedadiah b. 1781, and Whiting 1782. 40 peoople were in the group that came with the Allens. Whiting and Benjamin later moved with their families to Delaware County. There are many Allens! I do not know all the grandchilddren of Silas,but this might be a lead. Happy Hunting!
