Jean's family I was told were from Lancashire Scotland. She married William Henegan (Ireland?)and they resided in Scotland,prior to coming to America and settling in Knox Co. The story of their trip over is very interesting and found in the old Knox county history.They finally landed in New Orleans.Their child John Henegan married Mary Barry, who later became Mary Barry Colopy,after John's death. All of which lived in Knox county, Danville/Mt.Vernon area. Mary's second husband was Jonathan Colopy a widower. His deceased wife was Sarah "Berry". (2 families different spellings/names sounded the same.)(Barry/Berry)
