It's not Mound Cemetery, it's not Mountain View Cemetery . . . . It's Mound View Cemetery, named presumably for the mound that was built eons ago on the highest point in the immediate area that was utilized by the tribes who lived along the river. Point 2: When querying the site for ancestors, please give an indication of the time period that you think your ancestors were in the area. Makes a difference in the help you get if you are asking for information for Milton Reeder, 1842, or Milton Reeder, 1942. (They were not related to each other.)
