I understand that Caleb McKenzie Sr. is buried in a Catholic Cemetery in Knox Co. I need to prove that his son, Caleb Jr. and Martha "Jane" Workman are the parents of Workman McKenzie. FFO Chair will not except my Workman History; my obits; my census reports from 1860, my death certificates(because only the mother's name is there). She claims that, just because he is listed in the household does not mean that he is a child of theirs, as relationships were not mentioned in that census! I have obits of his siblings, mentioning that he is the brother of......., but that is not considered proof by her. In addition, the History of the Workman Family is not valid, as it was written in the 20th Century! I am very frustrated being stuck in a place that is not too conducive to the furtherance of my family history, at least for the next 14 months!!!!!!!!!! Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated! I have researched in Knox Co. several times, but did not realize this was a Catholic family prior to Caleb Jr. He and Martha Jane are buried in Danville, Workman Cemetery.
