Surnames: Peterson, Vanarnem Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GWB.2ACE/1314 Message Board Post: I need a vital records look-up for William Peterson b. 1801 NJ and his wife Marsha Vanarnem b. 1814 VT who married 1835 in Richland county but lived in Morrow County, Franklin Twp., in 1850. This had been part of Knox County before Morrow County was formed. They sold their property in 1851 to Robert Surplus and moved to Indiana. They are my gg-grandparents. I would like any information regarding their parentage and that of their son Cass McNulty Peterson b. 1846, who is my great-grandfather. I want to be sure he was their son and not adopted since it's unusual to put a middle name on a census form as it was done for him in 1850.
