I think her father was JOHN FORTNEY, because of a passage about JOHN FORTNEY written in the FORTNEY BOOK, which mentions that he visited his daughter SARAH, who was married to a SMITH. That's all I have......would love to hear from anyone who may be related, or otherwise!! I have no information on FORTNEY's in KY. Good luck! Sandy
