Genealogy is all about one researcher helping another. Who of us can afford to buy EVERY book that mentions one date or one family that that we need. We all got our information from " someone" who kept a record or shared facts.....and some write books They intend to make a profit, so that's a business, and if I buy the product, who I share with is up to me. Its not like I might make 300 copies and go out and sell them. The resale of information is what a copyright protects Sue.
