Thought I might add a few thoughts. I have been the recipient of some wonderful help from this list so I always want to give them credit. Now the trouble with a lot of books is that they do not have an index of surnames that is published so that the buyer has no idea whether his or her family might be listed. I have bought several rather expensive books that did not help me at all. If I had seen a good index of the book I would have at least had an idea that they were not going to help me much. Or that they contained surnames that I am looking for and worth the price The best part of books is that you can curl up on the couch and really study them in depth. Sometimes can figure out relationships that you would not have noticed at just a glance. Later.............Alice
