    3. I am looking for information on John and Elizabeth Madden. Does anyone have any information on where they lived or are buried in Knox County. They were married in Knox County 25 Feb. 1836. Thanks Alice

    3. 1850 Knox County census: Howard twp: John Madden, 34y, farmer, MD Elizabeth Madden, 43y, VA Lisander Madden, 13y, OH Benjamin Madden, 11y, OH John Madden, 6y, OH Mahala I. Thompson, 10y, OH The James Rightmire (43y, VA) family is listed just before the Madden family. The Harrison Rightmire (33y, OH) family is listed just after the Maddens. Are they are Elizabeth (Rightmire) Madden's brothers? There is no value of real estate for John Madden noted on the 1850 census. Could have been renting/leasing? Both Rightmire's apparently owned their property. According to an 1847 map of Howard twp, there was Rightmire/Critchfield property in the Southeastern corner of the twp. In 1871, Harrison Rightmire owned 100 acres in the same area. Just south of what is now State Rte 36 (Coshocton Rd), at the corner of Twp Hwys 225 and 224. There's a John M. Madden buried in MoundView Cem in MtVernon. But it give no dates. Apparentley buried beside a George L. Madden, s/o George & Eliza Madden, d. 23 Oct 1847, age 2y7m13d.
