    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/GWB.2ACE/570.3.2.2 Message Board Post: I am sorry it has taken me so long to answer you. I seem to have missed this reply to my posting. Here is what I have on Johan Michael Lohr. 1. Johan Michael2 Lohr (Johan George1) was born 06 October 1755 in York Co., Pennsylvannia, and died 1835 in Rockingham Co., VA. He married Catherine Elizabeth Shriner 1776 in Washington Co., Md., daughter of Johan Shreiner and Anna Shoneberger. Children of Johan Lohr and Catherine Shriner are: 2 i. George3 Lohr, born 1780 in Washington Co., Maryland; died 14 June 1877 in Rockingham Co., VA. He married (1) Eliza Hartner. He married (2) Madeline Butt 04 August 1818. 3 ii. Peter Lohr, born 1782. He married Lizzie Lutzer (Salzer) 22 April 1807. 4 iii. Mary "Polly" Lohr, born 1785. She married Tim Ororick (O'Roark) 15 May 1808. 5 iv. Michael Lohr, Jr., born 1787; died 1819. He married Mary Catherine Miller 15 August 1811. 6 v. Martin Lohr, born 1789. He married Hannah Koontz 03 September 1822. + 7 vi. Henry Lohr, Sr., born 1792 in Rockingham Co., Virginia; died 10 May 1886 in Madison County, Virginia. 8 vii. Christian Lohr, born 1792. He married Phebe O'Roark 18 December 1820. 9 viii. Catherine Lohr, born 1795. She married Samuel Missimore 21 June 1821. It doesn't look like he had a dau. named Mary b. 1771, however his Mary is b. 1785 is close to that time. Have you checked into the children of Johan Peter Lohr, his brother who moved to Augusta co. Va. I have only done collateral lines on later generations. I have been told, but seem to have lost my source, (See Dulls Early Settlers of York Co, Pa as a possibility), that Johan and his brother Conrad, sons of George and Anna Maria Lohr, immigrated to America and arrived here Sept 30 1754. Don't have what ship they may have come on. I have a couple of different names for George's wife also. Anna Maria and Maria Margaretha. Haven't got a clue which is correct.
