Any help or advice is appreciated on these problems. Susan BALTZELL (born 23 Sept 1822 or 1823 in PA or OH) was married in Dec 1840 (I'm not sure of the exact day) in Knox County, OH, to William WOODS. She was listed as "Mary Baltzell". I am trying to find their parents and siblings. The only other BALTZELLs that I've found in Knox County were Joseph BALTZELL (born Feb 1804 in PA) and his wife Lydia (born Sept 1805 in NJ). I am still searching for a marriage date for them. Their children in the 1850 census were: Archabold (b 1832 PA), Atkinson (b 1836 PA), Joseph (b 1839 OH), John (b1841 OH), and Martha (b 1845 OH) BALTZELL. There is a large gap between the birthdate of Susan Baltzell and Archabold Baltzell. If she was a sister of Archabold, Atkinson, etc., I wonder what happened to other siblings born in that time gap. If Susan (b 1822/1823) was a contemporary, such as a sister or cousin to Joseph BALTZELL (b 1804), who were their parents or other siblings, and where did they live? I am also wondering whether the younger Joseph Baltzell (born 1839 OH) is the same person who married Sarah Jewell, and had a daughter Eva Jane Baltzell (born about 1864). This Eva Jane Baltzell was listed as "niece" in the household of Susan Baltzell and her husband William WOODS, in the 1880 Fremont County, Iowa census. Thank you for any clues.
