Thanks Mary and Denise.........The information on the Rightmire family in Hollister cemetery was what I was looking for. Have a "cuz" or two in that area that may be able to check it out a little closer. The Rightmire's could take a prize for naming children after relatives. The Rightmire's in the Workman cemetery are related also, but that Isaac is a nephew to the one in Hollister cemetery. The James in Workman Cemetary is James Jr, another son of James Sr and Elizabeth Rightmire. The dates of birth and death indicate this. I believe the Elizabeth in Hollister may be my grtgrtgrt Grandmother. Looking for where grtgrtgrt Grandfather is buried. He lived with his daughter Mahala Trott for many years after his wifes death and they moved to Hardin County Ohio near son Benjamin about 1855. His will was probated in Hardin County Ohio Nov. 1863, but so far we have not found his grave. Could he have been buried in Hollister? Were their any records or are the records a result of it being read later on ?If you know please let me know. Thanks again for the help. Appreciate it. Alice
The Knox Co, Ohio cemetery book is a result of members of the Knox Co, Ohio Historical Society visiting each cemetery and reading every grave marker. This project was started in 1957 and the book was published in 1991. Not every grave has a marker - some are unmarked, others are missing or destroyed, others just wore down and are unreadable. Your ancestor could have been buried in either county (Hardin or Knox).
