James Monroe Shaffner was born June 24, 1850 in Clark Co., Illinois. His siblings were: Philip, Elizabeth, Henry, Mary, George and Abraham, all born in Ohio. James Monroe Shaffner married Irena E. Rice, b. April 26, 1852 in Henderson Co. IL, on July 11, 1869 in Alexandria, Clark Co., IL. They 4 boys and 2 girls..Carl, Claude, George, Earl, Pearl and Mary E. Does anyone know any more about the ancestors of Abraham Shaffner???
