Hi everyone. I am looking for information on the following: Martha Butler married Nathaniel Hornbeck on 6/17/1830 in Knox Co. Nathaniel was from Virginia, and was the son of William Hornbeck and Mary Elizabeth Yoakam. Martha was from, I believe, Maryland. Their children were all born in Knox. They were: Lydia b: abt 1833, William China b: abt 1836, Benjamin b: abt 1837 Eliza R. "Rodelphia" b: 5/22/1841 Nathaniel died around 1849 in Knox Co. I have Eliza R.'s death certificate but it lists her parents as "Lew" Hornbeck and Martha Butler. I believe this is inaccurate, and I am trying to tie her to Nathaniel. Nathaniel left no will, according to the Knox Co. Courthouse. After Nathaniel's death, the children were all sent away to live with other families, with "Rodelphia" being sent to live with the family of Jacob Morgan in Delaware Co. Martha promptly married Joel Olney and also moved to Delaware Co. If anyone has any information on this family, I would love to hear from you. Brenda
