Died at the residence of his son-in-law M.A. Hulse, in Keota, Iowa, Oct. 29th., 1879, Edwin penrose, aged 72 years. Edwin Penrose was born in Penn., June 13th., 1807. Moved to Knox Co., Ohio, west of Palmyra, 2 miles. He was a near relative of Paul Bradrick. He came to Iowa in the Spring of 1865, and has resided here since that time. In religion he was of the Quaker persuasion; was an humble follower of the Saviour, and always so lived that his actions were in unison with his religion.
