I am researching in Knox County, but not the Jones line. I would like to compare notes, however, since my ggfather Baldwin Pierce McNamee and ggmother Sarah Ann Reed were married by a J.P. named J. E. Jones on 1 January 1867. It would help me to know where this marriage might have been performed and where those records might have been registered. I would be more than happy to share any information I gather that might include Jones since I am reading about everything I can get my hands on to unravel my "mystery".
