    1. Information on Catherine Smail Brightwell Mohler
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Brightwell, Smail, Mohler Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GWB.2ACE/1331 Message Board Post: I am looking for the burial place of the above mentioned person. She lived in and around Killbuck and Danville all her adult life. Her first husband Levi Brightwell died in 1884 leaving her with eight children. She is the daughter of Jacob and Sarah Grim Smail and was born in 1839 in Columbiana County Ohio. The Smails then moved to Holmes Cty., After her husband died, she lived on land owned by her father in Stillwater, and her sons farmed it. She worked as a domestic for Jonathan House. Levi Brightwell is buried in the Barnes Cemetery in Holmes County but the Catherine Brightwell buried there is most likely a sister or cousin of Levi's, it is not his wife. We heard she remarried a man with the last name of Mohler. I found a Catherine Mohler aged 71 in the 1910 Census for Danville Village, Under Item # 154163. She is listed as boarder/ Sevant. I have been unable to find where she is buried. She supposely lived with her daughter during her last years in Brinkhaven, I sear! ched the Brinkhaven Cemetery but did not find her. There is a broken stone behind the Jonathan House Stone, she may be there since she worked for many years for the House Family. Her daughter Delilah Brightwell Ringler is buried in front of this stone. I would like to remark the grave if I can find it. Any and all information will be appreciated. Thank You , Julia Pietruszewski [email protected]
